In this beautiful weather, our children have been lovingly tending to their herb and veggie gardens. Spinach, tomatoes, strawberries, shallots, zucchini, thyme, aloe vera and more!
I would like to extend my Thanks to our Wonderful Dedicated Educators and Supportive Families after our Flood on Monday. We have been offering an Extra Make Up day to families within our Ratio Levels. Each of our Rooms are able to safely facilitate the following children:
Purple Koalas - 16
Yellow Koalas - 20
Green Wombats - 20
Orange Wombats - 20
We do not ever breach our Ratios to maintain safety at all times. However as our service was closed due to unforeseen circumstances we have been allocating as many Make UP Days as available to ensure that our families don't miss out.
Our procedure is to allocate all the make up days that are available each friday for the following week, if you are listed as requesting a day I will work out if there is availability due to both bookings and staffing requirements. The approved requests will then be confirmed.
However, at this stage with Make Up Days being required from both this Mondays Flood and next Mondays Australia Day I am updating our availability daily.
Tomorrow I have the following bookings available, if you would like to use them as your Make up Day please reply to this thread or call myself directly to confirm. Please do not just turn up on the day, I will need to confirm the requests and add your booking to our system. There is a process.....

Every day this week we will be performing either a Lock Down Practice or a Fire Drill Practice with all our children. This is performed four times a year (One week per school term). Today our "Fire Drill" was for a "Fire"in the Kitchen. All our Educators did a fantastic job teaching the children how to be safe and calm and were able to transition to our Emergency Evacuation Meeting Point swiftly. Please talk to your children about our drills, these are aimed to keep them safe.

We are so proud of our gratuity chain in the foyer. Our kids and staff are so thankful for many things, from family to sleeping to pizza. A little gratitude can go a long way.
